Made with mood in mind.
To put it simply - each Terpene effect blend is targeted and optimized for one specific psychological effect. It's a laser-focused approach to functional products that allows you to create predictable, repeatable, and scalable effects.
Most cannabis strains have a wide variety of effects because of their terpene profiles. In addition to their genetics, the cannabis plant will create different terpenes in response to stimuli during the growing process. A seed grown indoors will produce drastically different terpenes than a seed planted outdoors.
Our Approach
Our proprietary blend of terpenes are chosen from peer-reviewed scientific research in order to create the most faithful and flavorful terpene blends we can. We aim to deliver unique and iconic flavors that solidify our brand in your hearts and taste buds.
Terpenes are natural molecules found in plants that can play a significant role in one's mood through aroma. Abstrax Tech has developed terpene blends, known as Abstrax AI Terp Effects that are designed to target specific mood states like Relaxed, Inspired, Energized, Focused, and Peaceful, and are a key tool we use to balance and curate our formulations.

Terpene analysis & research
To evaluate the impact of these blends on mood, Abstrax Tech partnered with The Effects Lab by Budboard and conducted a sensory evaluation study. The study involved panelists assessing the terpene blends' mood impressions using Mood Descriptor Profiling, a quantitative technique. In the blind study the panelists rated each sample without knowledge of the intended mood profile.

The study aimed to obtain direct sensory evaluations of the terpene blends and determine their impact on mood. The results indicated that the blends consistently produced positive mood impressions that could be further targeted.

In conclusion
Importantly, the study set a new standard for objectively assessing the relationship between terpenes and mood, providing empirical data instead of relying on personal experiences. This research transforms the conversation about terpenes and mood by offering scientific insights into their effects, particularly in the context of cannabis strains.
